The Restructuring and Insolvency practice at Osborne Clarke is looking to recruit a Solicitor to join their successful team.
The team deals with corporate recovery proceedings and restructuring issues for a range of clients including insolvency practitioners,
banks, creditors and accountancy practices. Chambers and Partners report that the team is "extremely impressive in strength
and depth". Clients endorse its "commercial lawyers who don't drop the ball; they cross every T and cover every angle."
Skills and experience
Our successful London team is looking to recruit a strong and highly motivated Insolvency Lawyer. Suitable candidates will
possess general insolvency or litigation experience gained within a recognised practice or in-house team.
The successful candidate will have gained at least 3 years' PQE and will have undertaken a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and corporate restructuring work to complement OC's existing team in line with growth strategy. A familiarity with formal insolvency regimes, predominantly administrations and liquidations, is required along with some working knowledge of CVAs, s.110 demergers and schemes of arrangement (desirable but not essential). The team currently undertakes a good mix of domestic and cross-jurisdictional instructions from an extensive client base, insolvency practitioners and banks with an increasing emphasis on work originating out of North America.
Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to contribute to team marketing initiatives, an eye for detail, strong problem solving and analytical skills gained within a commercial environment.
