The Thames Valley Commercial Litigation team, headed by Peter Sheppard, Partner, is growing from strength to strength and is looking to recruit a talented lawyer, who is already at or is looking towards Associate level, to further develop and build the team.

Skills and experience

We are seeking a Solicitor/Associate with at least 4 years' experience as a general commercial litigator.  Candidates must have solid commercial litigation experience and be committed to working in the Thames Valley area.  They will be involved on a range of commercial litigation work including:

• Breach of warranty claims relating to company purchases
• IT disputes
• Banking and finance
• General contractual and commercial litigation

Candidates will have gained technical expertise within well a respected litigation team at a City or large regional firm.  They will have worked with clients at a senior level and have a commitment to marketing and business development initiatives.  We are looking to recruit a candidate who possesses supervisory skills to support and mentor other team members.

The role offers training and development opportunities alongside team and Partner support.

Team

The team is headed by Peter Sheppard , Partner who is currently supported by two Solicitors and a Trainee.  The team works as part of the national litigation practice group.
